A rare page marker, the finial depicts a uniformed soldier fully equipped, rifle at the ready standing on a plinth inscribed "Sons of the Empire". The front bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1899 and maker's details "B.H.A" possibly (Barnett Henry Abrahams London). Very good condition.
