Boer War Mauser Rifle 1902 Prisoner of War work bone badge

A unique rare example of 'Boer War POW bone artwork' at its best ! Cleverly hand carved from a single piece of animal bone to form a stylised 'Mauser Rifle' with '1902' seated on the sling, all riveted to a steel plate backing with pin fittings. Very good condition, a superb example.
