WW1 Royal Flying Corps monoplane The Allies Aeroplane silver badge

A very fine quality First World War period 'Royal Flying Corps Monoplane patriotic badge' depicting the United Allies Flags of the Nations, England, Belgium, Russia, France and Japan; the reverse impressed "The Allies Aeroplane" "Sterling" and "Regd No 644982" a registered, design and patent date of 1915 and maker's details "W.W.Ld" (W Wilkinson Ltd. Skinner Street & Clerkenwell Road, London). Good condition, perfect enamel without stress, retaining original pin fittings, the four tiny hooks on the reverse would have originally held a thin wire cable in a triangular shape, this now ABSENT, propeller now ABSENT. Price reflects.
