A rare original circa 1950's 'Robertson's Golly Cricketer badge' solid gilt between arms and face, pop eyes wearing light blue coat, solid brass between legs, white waistcoat displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred'; the reverse impressed with maker's details in rectangular box 'Fattorini & Sons 36 Barr St. Birmingham'. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, original enamel bloom reflecting light from camera, but not in reality.
