A scarce Edward VIII souvenir aluminium medal, produced for the proposed Coronation in 1937 that never took place. The obverse with Crowned bust left and title "Edward VIII King and Emperor". The reverse depicts a Tudor Rose, the Sovereign's Crown and Sceptre "To Commemorate The Coronation Of H.M.King Edward VIII May 12th 1937"
Very good condition, complete with original red, white and blue ribbon, suspension safety pin fitting. An excellent example.
