Coronation of Elizabeth II 1953 pretty souvenir pin badge

A good original '1953 Coronation of Elizabeth II souvenir brooch', designed for the celebrations of Queen Elizabeth on 2 June 1953; large circular gilt metal example, the centre bearing photographic image behind celluloid glaze, taken around the time of her accession to the Throne on the 6th February 1952, the scalloped edge decoration set with red, white and blue glass stones (two absent). Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, gilt finish remains bright.
