A scarce original circa 1950's period 'Bristol & District Rugby Supporters Club gilt metal lapel badge'; blue enamel title surround, embossed shield to centre depicting 'Bristol City Coat of Arms' in coloured enamels on stippled ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.Reeves & Co (Jewellers) 31-33 Tenby Street Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright.
