Crofts (Engineers) Ltd Bradford ARP air raid precautions warden badge

A very scarce original Second World War period 'Crofts (Engineers) Ltd ARP lapel badge'; chromium plated black enamal title surround, embossed 'ARP' badge to centre on blue enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini Bradford'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.
Diameter approx 25mm.
In 1940 Crofts (Engineers) Ltd was a major manufacturer of power transmission appliances, shafting, couplings, bearings, fixings, pulleys, and gear drives. They were based in Thornbury Bradford.
