WW1 Battle of Ypres sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period battle pin badge, ornate gilt and enamel filigree crescent with Ypres Coat of Arms resting within, below the suspended gilt dangling letters 'YPRES'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no loss to the hand painted enamel finish, gilt remains bright.
Height approx 43mm.
