United Dairies Long Service 1957 hallmarked silver badge

A good original pre 1959 period 'United Dairies Long Service lapel badge' in the form of a small map of the United Kingdom with superimposed blue enamel 'UD' logo and 'LONG SERVICE' to the centre; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1957 and maker's details 'T.F' (Thomas Fattorini). Good condition, complete with buttonhole lapel fitting, no enamel loss. Height approx 27mm

United Dairies was formed in 1915 and merged to form Unigate in 1959.
