BOAC Airline silver and gold bullion cap badge

A scarce original 1939 -1974 early issue fine quality possibly pilot's 'British Overseas Airways Corporation cap badge' finely detailed early pattern embroidered silver bullion griffin on torse, within gold bullion oak wreath, gilt metal decoration to tips of acorns, surmounted by an astral crown, all set on black felt backing, the reverse with herringbone pattern cotton backing and old retailers paper label 'Rabial Haque & Co Calcutta -13'. Very good condition.
