A rare original circa 1929 period early issue 'Florence Nightingale School of Nursing silver nurses badge', the reverse embossed with 'Nightingale School St Thomas Hospital' and inscribed to the recipient 'PHYLLIS K. ANSTEY 1929'. Condition: In need of enamel replacement and pin. Price reflects.
Height approx 39mm.
The badge was designed by Dame Alicia Lloyd Still in 1925.
