National Fire Service NFS Area 31 Brighton Sussex I.D Tag

A good original post 1941 'National Fire Service wartime composition Identification tag impressed 'N.F.S.31' to one side and '722683 JEFFREY S.H.' to the other. Good condition, complete with original split ring suspension.
Diameter approx 35mm.
In 1941 the 'Auxiliary Fire Service' and the local authority fire brigades were amalgamated to become the 'National Fire Service'.
