Aldershot Motor Cycling Club membership badge Hampshire

A scarce original circa early part of the 20th century period 'Aldershot Motor Cycling Club lapel badge', silver plated circular title surround inlaid with blue enamel, resting in a winged wheel with Latin motto 'Celer et Prudens' (The quick and discreet), the centre depicting a Hind's Head issuing from a Mural Crown from the 'Aldershot Coat of Arms'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'B'Ham Medal & Badge Co Ltd Albion St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, silvered finish remains bright.
