Warrington Infirmary School of Nursing wartime issue silver badge

A very scarce original Second World War issue 'Warrington Infirmary School of Nursing silver pin badge'; blue enamel title circlet superimposed over voided cross, displaying an embossed shield with six lions from the Borough of Warrington Coat of Arms' and suspended from a silver bar inscribed 'MAGNUM OPUS' (Great Work); the reverse impressed 'SILVER' and inscribed 'E.SIMCOCK 1942 - 1945'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defects to the enamel.
