A rare original pre 1973 period 'Queens Institute of District Nursing vintage car badge'; white metal large disc inlaid with half dark blue and light blue enamel, mounted with the 'Queens Institute of District Nursing emblem by two nuts and bolt fittings . Very good unused condition, enamel perfect.
Height approx 64mm. Width with fittings 80mm.

The Queen's Institute of District Nursing car badges were mounted to the front grille of a district nurse's car to identify them while on official home visits.
