Corgi Model Toys Childrens Club Badge c.1960's

A good original circa 1960's early period 'Corgi Model Club gilt pin badge' in the form of an oblong badge with an additional ring below, inlaid with red enamel, the centre depicting a recessed gilt 'Welsh Corgi Dog' trademark; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'FATTORINI & SONS Ld 36 BARR ST. B'HAM 1' (a format used between 1954 -1961). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact.
Size approx 22 x 22mm.
The Corgi toy vehicles were introduced in the United Kingdom in 1956 and were manufactured in Swansea, Wales, for twenty seven years before the company went into liquidation.
