A good original circa 1940's Second World War period 'On Ne Passe Pas Ligne Maginot pin badge', pressed brass example depicting the Fort with Machine Gun at the ready with barbed wire fence in the foreground; the reverse with tiny maker's details to pin fixing. Good condition, complete with original pin fitting, minor service wear.
Diameter approx 37mm.
The Maginot Line named after the French Minister of War Andre Maginot fortifications were built from 1928 to 1940 by the French government for the protection of French borders.
