A very scarce original vintage period 'Paris Cycle Company badge', gilt example in the form of the Eiffel Tower with orange enamel crescent moon title 'PARIS CYCLES LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with original oblong style lapel fitting, no stress marks or enamel loss, an excellent example.
Height approx 30mm.
The Paris Cycle Co. was founded by 'Harry Rensch' in the late 1930's, it operated from 129-133 Stoke Newington Church Road, London. it was renowned for its Signature Model: The Paris Galibier, known for its distinctive twin top tube and offset seat tube, it closed circa 1952.
