WW2 Royal Air Force officers field service RAF hat badge by Ludlow London

A very good original Second World War King George VI period two piece 'RAF officer's gilt brass cap badge' on backing plate, the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'Ludlow London', retaining original screw posts and one nut to eagle and blade to Crown. Very good condition, minimal service wear.
Wingspan approx 53mm.
