A very scarce original fine quality 'Doncaster Isolation Hospital & Sanatorium wartime issue silver pin badge'; blue enamel title circlet superimposed over cross, the centre displaying the embossed 'Doncaster County Borough Council Coat of Arms'; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1938, maker's details 'F&S' (Fattorini & Sons) and inscribed with recipients details 'L.EUERSFIELD R.F.N.11682 28-12-40'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel with minor flaw to centre left.
