East Suffolk Police Reserve Special Constable Badge

A scarce original circa First World War period 'East Suffolk Police Reserve badge'; blue enamel gilt brass Crowned oval, the voided centre displaying the 'Order of the Garter' bestowed on William Ufford the Earl of Suffolk in circa 1376; the reverse iimpressed with maker's details 'J.R.GAUNT LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fittings, no damage to the enamel.
