A scarce original pre 1977 vintage period 'Svenska Lloyd house flag badge'; gilt metal rectangular white enamel flag with a blue Maltese cross in the centre and 'SWEDISH LLOYD' title below; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'SQUIRE ENGLAND'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact.
Size approx 21 x 17mm.
Svenska Lloyd was a renowned Swedish shipping company founded in Gothenburg in 1869, known for its passenger and cargo vessels. It ceased operations in 1977.
