London Transport central bus crew c1962 cap badge Firmin London

A very good example of an original circa 1962 period 'London Transport chromium plated bus crew cap badge' inlaid with blue and white enamel, depicting the mid feature dots,the reverse impressed with maker's details 'FIRMIN LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with original two loop fittings and split pin, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
Height approx 37mm.
The 'London Transport Standard cap badge' was issued from 1934 up until the 1987. In the late 1950's the finish was changed from nickel plating to chromium plating.
