A scarce original circa Second World War period 'Women's Voluntary Service home front sleeve badge'; George VI crowned 'W.V.S Civil Defence' shield, maroon silk embroidered on grey felt cloth backing together with a non matching regional title MIDDLESEX worn below. Very good condition, the shield still attached to a piece of green uniform, the title slightly differing in colour.
