Royal Thames Yacht Club Ripple Pennant Enamel Flag Belt Buckle

A rare original pre-war vintage period fine quality 'Royal Thames Yacht Club enamel flag buckle'; a unique Important large gilt metal example in the form of a ripple pennant inlaid with rich blue enamel, bearing white cross and Royal Crown to centre; the reverse impressed with 'Rd 265538' Registration, Design and Patent number for the year 1885 -1886'. Very good condition, complete with original clasp and some loose belt attachments, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
