A good original circa mid century period 'Manchester Royal Infirmary pin badge' in the form of a large bronze embossed Latin title circlet 'VADE ET TU FAC SIMILITER (Go and do likewise) the centre depicting a biblical scene from the Good Samaritan; the reverse impressed with the recipients name 'F.NELSON CERTIFICATED NURSE 538' within an embossed title surround. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, minor edge knocks.
