WW1 BRCS & Order of St John VAD General Service cloth badge

A very scarce original First World War period 'Voluntary Aid Detachment VAD General Service' large circular embroidered felt cloth badge, worn by a member of the joint War Organisation of the 'British Red Cross Society and Order of St John'. Good condition, complete with black hessian backing, edge without its normal black felt margin, price reflects.
