British Red Cross Society Physio-Therapist Technical Badge 1914 - c.1960's

A rare original unissued 'British Red Cross Society Technical Badge' with 'Physio-Therapist' bar. Very good condition, complete with original silk ribbon, title bar and gilt buckle suspension with pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
Overall Length approx 91mm.
The British Red Cross Society Technical badges were instituted in 1914 and were eligible to members of the Voluntary Aid Detachments with professional qualifications, they were discontinued in the mid 1960's.
