RAF No 617 Squadron Dambusters Royal Air Force badge c.1950s

A scarce original Elizabeth II post 1953 period 'Royal Air Force No 617 Squadron gilt and enamel pin badge' depicting the bursting of a dam in commemoration of Chastise with French motto 'Apres Moi Le Deluge' (After me the flood) unmarked but bearing all the attributes of an H.W.Miller Ltd. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.
