British Red Cross Society London Lambeth County Badge

A very scarce original First World War period 'British Red Cross Society London Lambeth gilt and enamel pin badge', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and inscribed '10590 NORAH F. ESSEX'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
Height approx 50mm.

The British Red Cross Society County / Branch badge was Instituted in 1911 and Discontinued in 1956.
