A scarce original '1988 National Health Service nurses protest badge' large white cellulod example with the 'Daily Mirror' newpaper logo, with red vertical letters 'S R N' heading the caption 'SHE'S ROBBED NURSES' and featuring a black and white image of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings.

In December 1988, NHS nurses staged a series of localized strikes and protests against the government led by smaller trade unions, notably striking at hospitals across the UK. The Daily Mirror covered these protests, opposing the government's handling of the NHS.
