Awarded to 'M.18600 G C WILSON. 3 WR. RN.

George Cedric Wilson from Burnt Cross Sheffield enlisted into the Royal Navy January 1916 and was appointed a Writer 3rd Class. Probably attached to a RNAS station on the 1st April 1918 he transferred to the newly formed Royal Air Force and was assigned the service number 313298 and the rank of Sergeant trade clerk. His BWM is a single entitlement and was awarded by the Admiralty.
