Darlington Forge Company ARP Badge Subsidiary to the English Steel Corporation

A scarce original Second World War period 'Darlington Forge Company Ltd air raid warden badge'; chromium plated plaque with embossed red enamel 'ARP' to centre on stippled ground, surmounted by blue enamel 'D.F.Ltd' tablet. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.
Height approx 24mm.
The 'Darlington Forge Company' was a subsidiary to the 'English Steel Corporation Limited'. it is interesting to note that both companies used the same badge design, differing only in the companies initials.
