Royal Australian Regiment Brass Slouch Hat Badge 1948 - 53 Swann & Hudson

A scarce original circa 1948 to 1953 period 'Royal Australian Regiment slouch hat badge', die-cast brass King George VI Crowned wattle wreath, the voided centre bearing Kangeroo superimposed on crossed rifles on 'Duty First' scroll; boomerang inscribed 'Royal Australian Regiment' below; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Swann & Hudson, Frankston Vic.'. Very good condition, complete with original two loop fittings and split pin.
Height approx 45mm.
