An early pattern vintage period 'Black Watch Association membership badge' in the form blue enamel oval title surround, gilt and enamel 'Thistle Star' bearing St. Andrew and his cross to voided centre, the reverse with maker's details 'J.R. Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact.
Height approx 28mm.
