Union-Castle Mail Steamship Co 1909 silver ships wheel badge by Michael Emanuel Southampton

A scarce original 1909 period 'Union-Castle Mail Steamship Company ship's wheel pin brooch', small fine quality white enamel example, mounted with the companies red, white and blue house flag to the centre; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1909 and maker's details 'M.E' (Michael Emanuel Southampton). Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, minor flakes to wheel and minor surface scratches to the enamel. Price reflects.
