A rare original Second World War period 'B.S W Ltd. A.R.P air raid precautions badge'; large gilt brass shield inlaid with blue and white enamel bearing 'FIRST AID' riboon scroll below; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham' and low issue number '59'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright, minor wear.
