WW2 Vickers-Armstrongs Weymouth Torpedo Works Badge
A scarce original Second World War period 'Vickers-Armstrongs Torpedo Factory Weymouth pin badge'; gilt brass shield depicting blue enamel Torpedo within ribbon scrolls 'W.S.& A.C. (possibly Workers Social & Athletes Club) and 'WEYMOUTH' superimposed with 'V A' cypher on seeded ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'FATTORINI & SONS Ld Bradford WORKS BIRMINGHAM' a format used used between 1933 - 1939'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no enamel loss, gilt finish remains bright.
Height approx 28mm.
