Voluntary Medical Service Miniature Medal

A good original miniature dress size 'Voluntary Medical Service long and efficient service medal' the obverse depicting a symbolic representation of Florence Nightingale holding an oil lamp, the reverse displaying the Geneva and St Andrew cross denoting the British Red Cross and St Andrew's Ambulance Corps (Scotland) organisations who issued the award. Very good clean unused condition, complete with original silk ribbon with raw edge.
