A good original Second World War period 'Royal Scots Greys bi-metal cap badge'. Very good condition, complete with original slider fitting and clear feathering on eagle chest.
Height approx 41mm.
During the early years of the Second World War (1939-45) the Cavalry regiment remained in Palestine, it retained its horses until 1941, when it became a motorised unit, the last British cavalry unit to do so.
