1914 Newbury Race Club horse racing pin badge

A scarce original '1914 Newbury Race Club horse racing club pin badge', gilt and enamel example depicting a horse and jockey, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'FATTORINI BRADFORD' and with official issue number '257'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.

Duriing the First World War Newbury Racecourse was requisitioned in August 1914 by the War Office and turned into an internment camp for prisoners of war.
