A rare original '1924 British Empire Exhibition Wembley Grand Buffalo Rally pin badge' Crowned cow horn shield bearing embossed red enamel 'Wembley Lion' symbol to solid centre within red enamel 'GRAND BUFFALO RALLY' scroll and laurel wreath; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Simpsons & Co 36 York Rd Kings Cross London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
Height approx 31mm.
