WW2 Civil Defence Driver Shoulder Title Badge introduced 1941

A scarce circa 1941 Second World War period 'Civil Defence shoulder title badge' old gold silk embroidered 'DRIVER' on wool oval backing. Very good unissued condition, paper lined.
Width approx 74mm.
The Driver shoulder title was often worn unofficially by Ambulance Drivers to distinguish themselves from the Ambulance Attendants.
