A scarce ORIGINAL circa 1943 - 1957 early period 'H.M.S. Amethyst cap tally ribbon', gold wire embroidered lettering with large square dots on long silk ribbon with swallow tail ends. Very good condition.
Length apprrox 120mm.
HMS Amethyst was a modified Black Swan-class sloop launched in 1943. She was later designated as a frigate, was involved in the Yangtze Incident in 1949 and was broken up in 1957.
