1898 Sandown Park gentlemans horse racing club badge rare variation

A very rare original Victorian period gentlemans '1898 Sandown Park horse racing club badge', superb gilt and enamel example, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Henry Lewis 172 New Bond St.' and impressed with official issue number '264'. Very good condition, complete with original blue and yellow cord knotted at the top, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
