Queens Institute of District Nursing silver bullion felt cloth hat and rank badge

A scarce original circa 1940's 'Queen's Institute of District Nursing hat badge', oval black felt example displaying the 'Queen Victoria Imperial Cypher' in embroidered silver wire bullion together with three star rank badge; the reverse with black hessian lining. Very good condition..
Height approx 60mm.
Became the 'Queen’s Institute of District Nursing' in 1928 and the 'Queens Nursing Institute' in 1973.
