A rare original official 'Boy Scouts 11th World Jamboree Greece 1963 silvered Laurel Award Badge' in the form of a bar bearing embossed laurel spray; the reverse embossed '11th WORLD JAMBOREE 1963 and early issue number' 'No 508' in relief. Good condition, complete with original pin fitting, minor service wear.
Width approx 31mm.
The Laurel Award was originally awarded with a certificate signed by Prince Constantine, Chief Scout of Greece, (this now absent). The award was officially worn above the right pocket of the scout uniform shirt.
