WW1 Harrow Local Defence Corps Attached To National Reserve Numbered Badge

A rare original First World War period 'Harrow Local Defence Corps Attached To National Reserve badge', gilt brass Crowned white enamel title surround, embossed Harrow School Coat of Arms Lion to centre on seeded ground; the reverse impressed with unusual maker's details 'GRIFFIN & Co CROWN BLDG'S BIRMINGHAM' and official issue number '457'. Very good excellent condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
