A good original circa 1966 vintage period Welsh 'Swansea Hospital School of Nursing pin badge'; large silver plated shield inlaid with red, white and blue enamel, the reverse with maker's details 'TOYE & CO LONDON' and inscribed to nurse 'V.A. ASHCROFT ENTERED 1963 -66'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel nick to top scroll.
